We are looking for Machine Learning / AI Trainees to join our team and contribute to data science and DevOps tasks. This is an exciting opportunity for graduates with a STEM background to gain hands-on experience in AI, data formatting, and critical DevOps processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with data science tasks, primarily data formatting
  • Support critical DevOps operations, ensuring system stability and deployment efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot issues independently by researching solutions
  • Document and share findings, experiments, and technical learnings.


Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • A Degree in Computer Science (preferred), Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), or Engineering Science.

Technical Skills & Attributes:

  • 1. Machine Learning & Deep Learning
    • Experience with transformers and LLM architectures
    • Understanding of model training, fine-tuning, and inference techniques.
    • Familiarity with optimisation technique.
    2. Programming & Frameworks
    • Strong Python skills, especially with libraries like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
    • Experience with Hugging Face's Transformer, DeepSpeed, and FSDP for distributed training.
    • Proficiency in CUDA & TensorRT for GPU acceleration.
    3. Data Engineering & Preprocessing
    • Ability to clean, tokenise, and preprocess datasets.
    4. Infrastructure (good to have)
    • Experience with cloud platforms and GPU clusters.
    • Ability to set up distributed training.
    • Familiarity with MLFlow or Weights & Biases for experiment tracking.

Soft Skills & Experience:

  • Prior experience working on LLM training & fine-tuning projects.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative engineering environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to debug complex training issues.
